The coal mine production faces various complicated geology condition, working environment changes continuously with time and space, so it is necessary to make the way of face layouting and mining to adapt this kind of variety. The purpose of researching protecting entry techniques under anomalistic pillar conditions in Fully Mechanized Caving Faces is to solve the technical problems that making the mine to product properly on complicated conditions.Based on solving the field problem, and aiming at the characteristics of anomalistic pillar, the distributional regularities of stress, displacement and failure area are researched; Through point design and employing some control methods, such as cable, anchorage cable and temporary brace etc., the critical region of some openings, which are needed to protect during the caving influence times, are strengthened and controlled comprehensively depending on explicit mechanism; the stress, strain and failure of surrounding rock, belonging to reserved entry near the anomalistic pillar, are surveyed by multi-survey techniques in the field., and the results indicate the distributional regularities of stress along the dip and strike ,and the space-time evolvement regularities between distortion and failure in the surrounding rock of different width pillar reserved entry under the caving influence. This technique proved in the practice can achieve satisfying support effect ,and also afford a scientific accordance to the project design ,construction and management under similar conditions.
