Inhibitive water-soluble polyaniline was polymerized via emulsion polymerization, polystyrene sulfonic acid doping polymerization, and aniline derivatives polymerization by rthogonal experiments design (L25(56)). Then, the inhibitive corrosion of water-soluble PAN for carbon steel and stainless steel was investigated by weight lost of immersion. The inhibition for carbon steel and stainless steel in 1.00mol/L HCl of inhibitive water-soluble polyaniline polymerized via different methods was investigated by range analysis. The results showed that polystyrene sulfonic acid doping polymerization is a batter method to prepare inhibitive water-soluble polyaniline. The experiments were carried out to optimize the synthesis process of polystyrene sulfonic acid doping polymerization. The optimum condition was then selected: aniline=0.50mol/L, ASP:An=0.40:1.00, acidity=1.00mol/L, polystyrene sulfonic acid salt=2.00g/L, reaction time=16h, temperature=20.0℃. The effect on inhibitive water-soluble polyaniline concentration, immersion temperature, immersion time, and acidity on the inhibition for carbon steel and stainless steel of inhibitive water-soluble polyaniline synthesized by polystyrene sulfonic acid doping polymerization was studied in detail. Ptentiodnamic polarization, FTIR, and TG were applied to investigate the structure and electrochemical performance of inhibitive water-soluble polyaniline. Results revealed that the best concentration of inhibitive water-soluble polyaniline in 1.00mol/L HCl was 0.3%. The stable inhibitor performance of water-soluble polyaniline did not change obviously under temperature 100℃ and was immersed in the solution with 1.00mol/L HCl for 10h. The efficiency of inhibitor was decreased when the concentration of HCl was increased. The imine and amido groups in polyaniline molecules chain were propitious to adsorption on metal, and these inhibitors were multiple type of cathodic and anodic. Based on the above...
