Microemulsion method is a promising method for the preparation of nano particles. In this paper, TiO2/ZrO2 composite microemulsion was prepared by reverse microemulsion system which employed organic solvent as oil phase, non-ionic surfactant M—non-ionic surfactant N as compound emulsifier, and (A) as auxiliary emulsifier. A Quasi-ternary team diagram which involves compound emulsifier, oil phase and water phase was worked out, series of experiments were done by varying the proportion of the three components, the oil-water delamination, the color, and the fluidity of the microemulsion system were inspected by visual-fit method. Abundant of experiments indicate that the critical curve for the locally stable tendency of the microemulsion system in the Quasi-ternary team diagram can be glancingly depicted by a parabola.TiO2/ZrO2 composite microemulsion was prepared by optimally proportioned reverse emulsion of non-ionic surfactant M—non-ionic surfactant N/oil phase (O)/water. TEM tests show that the particles of are found in the water droplets surrounded by oil phase. The...
