Co-extrusion is one of the common technologies in the molding of plastics. The special properties that single material cannot provide can be obtained by co-extrusion. Co-extrusion is a complicated process and can be influenced by many factors. The design of extrusion die is very important in the extrusion molding technology and it has important influence on product quality. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the co-extrusion die design. The structure parameters of co-extrusion die were gained by numerical analysis and computer simulation of the flow condition of plastics melt in co-extrusion die. In this thesis, double-layer co-extrusion is studied and the characteristics and advantages of the double-layer co-extrusion process were reviewed. Polyflow package was used to numerically analyse the velocities distribution according different dies.
