Sulfur compounds in fuel influence the quality of fuel largely, as the harmful substance, e.g. SOx produced during the combustion process will not only affect the engine, but also pollute the environment. Nowadays hydrogenation desulfurization is a main desulfurization method in the industry. Through this method, sulfur compounds could be eliminated mostly, but its some weakness was overcomed hard. Owing to this, in recent years there appeared one after another many new desulfurization methods. It is one of them ion liquids extraction. Ion liquids become gradually to new extract matter, because of its special physical and chemistry character and advantage to environment amity. This work investigated the desulfurization effect of four kinds of new ion liquids, 1-methyl-3-methyl imidazolium dimethyl phosphate ([MMim]DMP), 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium diethylphosphate ([EMim]DEP), 1-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium dibutylphosphate ([BMim]DBP), 3-methyl imidazolium diisooctyl phosphate ([Mim]DOP) , for the sulphur...
