The degassed water especially deoxygenated water is more and more needed in industries. As membrane technology developing rapidly, it is important to investigate the method to remove oxygen from water with membrane therefore to solve the problems in practice. In the process of membrane degassing, the hollow fiber membrane module is especially considered for the large areas and small volumes such advantages etc, so the mass transfer performance of hollow fiber membrane is studied importantly in the degassed process. The removal oxygen from water using hollow fiber membranes was studied in defferent operating conditions , various structures of membrane modules and outer ultrasonic fields with vaccum desorption, sweep desorption . The mass transfer performance enhancement was extremely studied by the vacuum pressures, coiled membrane modules, ultrasonic power. In the experiments, the change of dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration with time under various operating conditions was measured.
