High concentrated hydrochloric/nitric/sulfuric acid were used to dissolve Ti(OH)4 produced with TiOSO4 and ammonia. Then titanium (IV) chloride (TiCl4), titanium (IV) nitrate (Ti(NO3)4) or titanium(IV) sulfate(Ti(SO4)2) precursor were obtained. Nanometer titanias in different crystal structures with high specific surface area have been prepared at low temperature by the hydrolysis of TiCl4, Ti(NO3)4 orTi(SO4)2 precursor under highly acidic condition. The effect of reaction conditions on the crystal structure and the formation mechanism of crystals structure controlled synthesis of titania nanocrystals in liquid media at low temperature were investigated. The supported TiO2 photocatalyst, TiO2 supported by SiO2/Al2O3, was generated directely by liquid deposition method using TiOSO4 as precursor and SiO2/Al2O3 as supporter. The immobilized photocatalyst, TiO2 supported by glass fiber, was prepared by calcining method. The ability of photocatalytic degradation of NO was explored in fixed bed photocatalytic reactor made by ourselves. The...
