Nickel catalyst could polymerize butadiene into high cis-l,4-plybutadiene with 1,4-units more than 94%.The solution of polybutadiene is compounded in hydrogenated gasoline. In this system, cis-1,4-polybutadiene was prepared with a Al(i-Bu)3-Ni(naph)2-BF3·OEt2 catalysts. This paper has a pilot study on the effect of forth component and another conditions of polymerization. The cis-polybutadiene was synthesized by aging Al-Ni, diluting B and adding ROH or H2O independently. In order to make H2O spread around oil, the H2O/oil system was surged by ultrasonic. In order to make H2O/B spread around oil, the H2O/B system was surged by ultrasonic. For the ROH/B system and the H2O/B system, the effects of the catalyst component ratio, polymerization temperature, reaction time and ratio of boron to ROH and H2O on the monomer conversion, relative molecular weight and the microstructure of the polymer, and find when the H2O/B and Al/B is fit, the catalytic activity is improved. When the polymerization system is placed on low temperature with different time, and polymerized on high tmeperature, the final conversion is similitude. The gel and relative molecular weight is higher than the common condition. The polymerization activity of Al-B(a few)-Ni system is lower than Al-Ni system.
