There are more then 825,000 hectares cultivated land had been affected by heavy metal pollution in all elements of contamination in China. Cadmium is one of the most important heavy metal elements for its mobile ability and high toxic. It is very urgently to us to find a way to solution soil cadmium pollution. We analysised the soil and plant samples at the mill run rejectamenta area, Tong Shanlin nonferrous metals mine, Yongzhou, Hunan province seriously, which has been affected by heavy metal. These include analysis of soil samples pH value, roast missing volume, link exchange capacity, heavy metals, soil samples show high levels of heavy metals. It shows that the Pb, Cd, Cu in most of the samps of soil have exceeded the maximum allowed concentration for plants growth normally. The average concentration of Cd is 81.18mg/kg, the average concentration of Pb is as high as 6431.06mg/kg, and Cu content is 387.00mg/kg. The main plant around this area is Scirpus tabernaemontani L., Paspalum distichum L. and Kyllinga brevifolia R. Our study shows that all the three kind of plants could adapt to the high concentrations of heavy metals and growth well, but none of them could be could as hyperaccumulator in the wild conditions. Concentrations of cadmium on the terms Shuicong ground segment Concentrations may reach 78.97mg/kg volume, the other two types of plants is more than six times the average transfer coefficient 0.79, very close to the recognized standards of cadmium - enriched plants. On the absorption of lead and copper, three kinds of plants have different features, but all with a certain gap between the super-Concentrations of plant standards. We collected and analyzed 3 soil sampiles and 3 plant sampiles from Tongshanling copper main,Yongzhou,Hunan province。To predict the potential impact of tailings on nearby environments, the characteristics such as pH, loss on ignition, cation exchange capacity, and the concentration and speciation of heavy metals in the tailings were investigated. The results showed that the concentrations of Pb, Cd and Cu exceeded the tolerable levels to the degree of being phytotoxically excessive in the most tailing soils. The average concentration of Cd is 81.18mg/kg, Pb is 6431.06mg/kg, Cu is 387.00mg/kg. The concentrations of heavy metals in the 3 plants were analyzed. It was found that Scirpus tabernaemontani L., Paspalum distichum L., and Kyllinga brevifolia R. had good metal-enrichment and metal-tolerant ability.,but none of them...
