Methyl methacrylate (MMA) is an important precursor in the preparation of acrylic resins. Today, MMA is mainly produced by the method of acetone-cyanohydrins(ACH), the raw material are acetone and hydrocyanic acid which is seriously poisonous substance. In the reaction process, high corrosive sulphuric acid si also used, and the treatment of numerous ammonium hydrogen sulfate is difficult. The atom utilization ration of the route is only 47%. Isobutene as a raw material to produce MMA is a good route. Compare to ACH, the raw material, the catalysts and the green prduce process get better. C4(isobutene/tert-Butanol) as raw material is used in the route, the by-productor is water (C4H8+CH3OH+3/2O2→C5H8O2+2H2O). The atom utilization ratio of whole route is 74%. Partial oxidation of isobutene to methacrolein(MAL) is crux step of the route(i-C4 route). It is importance to study is for improving the yield.Partial oxidation of isobutene/tert-Butanol to methacrolein main reaction with the gas containing oxygen and isobutene in fix-bed reactor. In the reaction,the catalyst is the key. How to improve the selectivity and stability of the catalyst have as a challenge task to investigate.In this paper, we based on the Mo-Bi-Co-Fe-based complex catalyst,studied the catalyst of partial oxidation of isobutene/ tert-Butanol to methacrolein and it's reaction. Effect of preparing condition was investigated, We optimized the preparing condition so that the catalyst getted good pepetition, conversion and selectivity. The regularity of the catalyzed reaction was studied, and the effect reaction condition such as temperature,density, gas hourly space velocity(GHSV) and pressure were iinvestigated. We getted the based kinetics equation that applyingthe model enlarging reaction. Thus we setted up amplifying reaction device. We had 1500h continuous operation to test the catalyst stability.
