There is characteristic of broken formation small oil-bearing area narrow oil-bearing width thick thickness which is bored in well relaxed layer in 57 fault block, Xinzhuang oil field .When huffed and puffed, well will be quickly invaded by edge water because the edge water is active in small fault. It is important meaning for the reservoir developed to study on the method of restraining the invaded edge water. Based on digital simulation technology, the paper analyze by the numbers that the geologic and developing factors have effect on the invaded edge water. And by means of routine reservoir engineering methods ,the variational dynamic parameters and their effecting factors of different production wells are analyzed in details, afterwards, a comprehensive discriminance to judge underground water is put forward, and the producing characteristic of normal producing wells is summed up to discuss and analyze the developing efficiency.Finally based on H3III3~1 layer, five methods of restraining the invaded edge water are studied by digital simulation. And aiming in the heavy oil reservoir with small fault block and the invaded edge water and considering economical factor, we sum up two effective methods to restrain the invaded edge water.(1) To optimize the distance between the producing well and the boundary of oil- water in reason(2) To make certain the parameters of huffing and puffing in short periods for the wells which lie in the boundary of oil- water or are invade by the edge water...
