Karst groundwater system is complicated in Guiyang city, unique characteristics of hydrogeochemistry and prominent geochemistry vulnerability and environment frangibility. The research of the pollution risk in the Guiyang city, it can provide decision-making to exploitation and protection groundwater resource.Groundwater pollution generally occurs: over a large area, over an intermittent period of time, from diverse sources, sporadically, and is often correlated with climatic events. Geographic Information System (GIS) is an advanced spatiaL-tool, commonly applied to the study of groundwater pollution with high research significance and practical value. Integration of MAPGIS and groundwater models on Guiyang city was the main focus of this paper.The groundwater district can be divided into two groups in the Guiyang city. One locates at the west part of the area. The other locates at the east part of the area. In generally, the level of groundwater is good, the quality of groundwater in the south is better than the north, the east is better than west, but the middle area is worse.Integrating with MAPGIS, the widely known DRASTIC model had been used to compiling the groundwater vulnerability map of Guiyang city. A DRASTIC index map for seven sub-factors had been build to assess vulnerability of groundwater contamination.
