With the development of technology, simplex material can't meet various application needs especially in some specific fields, so it is necessary and attractive to synthesis composite material. Magnetic inorganic-polymer composite membrane with both polymer properties, such as good processibility, erode-resistant, light weight etc. and magnetic properties, such as magnetic record, radar wave absorption etc., can be widely used in the application of military and domestic areas for record, magnetic shield and microwave communication materials, etc. This research will focus on the research of preparation and characterization of NiCo/PTFE magnetic inorganic-polymer composite membranes. Many methods have been developed for the preparing of polymer-based magnetic composite membranes, among these methods, template synthesis method is cried up because template has specific oriented function for nanoparticles. Meanwhile, electroless plating is widely applied because of many advantages, such as no limits for host material, moderate reaction condition. In this paper, polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE) microporous membrane was applied as template, composite NiCo/PTFE magnetic membrane was in-situ prepared with membrane phase permeating electroless plating process. The factors which affect the microstructure and performances of resulting NiCo/PTFE magnetic composite membranes were taken into consideration and were investigated under the experimental conditions. The experimental results show that the concentrations of Ni2+, Co2+, NaOH, N2H4·H2O in plating solution and reaction temperature, reaction time affect the microstructures and performances of the resulting composite membranes. With the susceptibilityχm and metal content WNi+Co% of the composite membrane as the criteria, optimum experimental condition was obtained. In order to improve susceptibilityχm and metal content WNi+Co% of composite membrane, various experimental procedures were applied, which included the activations of substrate membranes on one side and two sides, introducing of electrical field in the membrane phase permeating electroless plating process. The reaction course of the formation of NiCo/PTFE composite membrane was investigated. The stability of the resulting composite membrane was tested under differential...
