With the development of tire mechanics and computer science, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) has gradually become the main method to analyze the structure of radial tire.Based on the uniaxial tension test results of every kind of rubber compounds in the practical application of tire, we select Yeoh model, which can characterize mechanical properties of these compounds accurately, and obtain the corresponding material parameters. The cords material was simulated by rebar model, which determined by he equivalent stress and strain curves in tension. With the application of ABAQUS and HYPERMESH software, the five cases of shrink, assembly, inflation, static loading and steady-state rolling are calculated, then using testing data to evaluate the results of FEA. Systematic study on the load and deformation characters of the skeleton structure and rubber structure of the crown and bead areas is carried out with refined analysis on weak regions, and some basic rules are induced.
