Study About Gas Emission Law Based On Fractal Theory

From the situation of gas explosion at mine at present ,first of all, the reason of gas explosion is discussed and it is necessary to study the law of gas emission .The gas accidents happened not only by management ,capital , and safe standard ,but also by the study of basic theory that falls behind the need of mine safety. Secondly, the forecasting methods of gas emission are studied fully. At the moment, the methods of forecasting gas emission have been divided into two parts, one is statistics, and another is calculation. All of them are based on linear relationships between gas emission and effect. So the accuracy is often not high. Forecasting method includes one dimensional linear regression and multi dimensional linear regression. On the forecasting method of nonlinear system of gray theory and ANN ,the researches of the law of gas emission have been developed in theory at quality .The mathematical mold is more closed to actual gas emission .But, the mold of grey theory and ANN have subjectivity at building mathematical mold. They can not tell the reasons. Based on the preceding study, fractal theory is introduced. The reason of solving gas emission on fractal theory has been discussed fully and detailedly. By actual observation, gas emission is not even, but there are some rules in it. We find out that gas emission is high in some times, but it is low in other times over the process of exploiting coal. It abides by a kind of irregular cycle. At the record of gas emission on Cheng zhuang mine 2315 in Jing cheng city, the regulation is appeared apparently .So, if we want to study the law of gas emission, nonlinear system mold must be used to describe actually in order to reach the aims. Finally, on the example of record of gas emission at Cheng zhuang mine 2315 in Jing cheng city, the R/S analysis from the fractal theory is used to calculate the fractal dimension and average cycle. Besides ,the Hurst index of gas emission and fractal behavior are discussed to study the law in irregulation.
