| Water resource shortage will be the focus all over the world in 21st century. China is a country short of water resource, especially in cities. Water resource shortage has become one of important factors, which restricts China economic development. But the municipal sewage reclaiming and reusing will be an economical and available approach to solve water resource shortage.The paper aims at China's water resource instance nowadays to discuss the magnificence of implementing the groundwater recharge. It introduces the classification and application of groundwater recharge technologies home and abroad and studies the advanced treating technologies of secondary treated municipal wastewater for groundwater recharge by means of a serials of experiments, including coagulation-sedimentation, sand filtration, activated carbon adsorption and disinfection. Experiments of coagulants selecting, dosage, pH value, stirring time and density, sedimentation time and so on are investigated in coagulation-sedimentation experiments. According to the analysis of advanced treatment theories and processes comparison, the process of advanced treatment of municipal wastewater drainage for groundwater recharge is given systematically. In this paper, main technical parameters are defined to provide the reference to practical application. The results show that the technology of advanced treatment of secondary treated municipal wastewater for groundwater recharge-coagulation-sedimentation, sand filtration, active carbon adsorption and disinfection, is propagable. |
