Study On The Pd(â…¡) Catalyst With 1, 1'-Trimethylene-2, 2'-biimidazole Ligand For The Heck And Suzuki Reactions

In this article, 1,1'-trimethylene-2,2'-biimidazole-palladium(II) chloride was synthesized by the reaction between 1,1'–trimethylene-2,2'- biimidazole on Pd(CH3CN)2Cl2. It is found that this complex can be used as an catalyst for the Heck reaction and the Suzuki reaction in the polar solvents and in the ionic liquids. The structures of the products are confirmed by IR, NMR, HRMS spectra.
