With ordinary semi-dull polyester chips as raw materials, several different-shaped fibers were produced through the section design method. Warm and comfortable hollow-fibers were trial-produced by improving the process and technology, and finally came to the level of industrialization.Having been tested for many times, this fiber obtained a higher hollow degree and heat preservation through choosing many kinds of technological routes on the foundation of optimizing the spinning process. Modulated the trial-producing and weaving parameters, the FDY and POY-DTY production process were eventually adopted as well as the parameters for a higher hollow degree. Adopted the advanced technology that loosen type and finished in the woven, integrating printing and dyeing technology which can make the fabric obtain some special characteristics while arranging the hollow-fiber's production.Through the design of special spinneret and the discussion of spinning process, researched the main factors that influence the PET spinning at a high speed and probed into the principle of the hole spinnerets' design as well as the direction of produce optimizing. The result shows : as the speed of spinning increases, the abnormal hollow is reduced, and it is the key to control the suitable degree of spinningmelt temperature while making the hollow fibre sectionally .Using the special spinneret and spinning craft, the production of several kinds of hollow fibers for heat preservation has come to industrialization, the speed of POY spinning is 2850~3150m/min and FDY spinning is 4000~4400m/min. The production is ultimately normal, meeting the demand of following process with FDY spinning melt temperature degree about 290℃ and POY about 305℃. FDY and DTY sectional forms present standard circular, triangle and "8"shapes.
