Thiophene and their derivatives are made from one cis-from conjugated diene bond and an available lone electron pair, reflecting the"soft acceptor"properties of metal surfaces. Therefore, their structure is the same as the benzene molecule. Owing to their structure properties, thiophene and their derivatives oligomers or polymers could form highly self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) and have special electroluminescence properties, what is the most interesting of the polymer chemistry.Langmuir-Blodgett film which made from monolayer films is highly ordered in molecular scale and form laminar structure with anisotropy, Could fabricate multilayer in a molecular scale and with controllable. And this made it have a broad application foreground in high-technological fields, such as semiconductor, nonlinearoptics, bionics and so on.Although thiophene and their derivatives oligomers or polymers have advanced functions, there is little attention paid in the LB film study, which are transferred by the mono thiophene and their derivatives on the air/water interface. In this article, we designed and synthesized two kinds of mono thiophene amphiphilic molecule. One is the typical amphiphilic molecule, that has two alkyl chain. The other is non typical amphiphilic molecule, without alkyl chain. Their structures were confirmed by IR, ~1H NMR, elemental analysis. Then we prepared these two amphiphilic molecule LB films transferred from ait/water interface and studied their properties:i. The amphiphilic molecule without alkyl chain, could form the stable monolayer film on the pure water subphase, through the hydrogen bonding interaction. This LB film has special morphology, what could be observed by Atom Force Microscopy (AFM), which could be certified by the data of FT-IR and UV-vis.ii. The stability of the LB film, which was transferred by the typical amphiphilic, is much stronger than the non-typical amphiphilic. During the same time, the surface pressure of the typical amphiphilic had decreased to the half, compared to the other, had dissolved into the pure water subphase yet.iii. The component of the subphase also lead the great change on the LB film. By...
