In this paper, the treatment of high concentration organic waste water and inorganic ammonia-nitrogen waste water was researched. The kinetics of organic waste water degradation in pressurized bio-oxidation was also investigated in this paper.Experiment of pressurized bio-oxidation was studied in both pressurized activated sludge and pressurized contact oxidation. When the wastewater mixed chemical oxygen demand(CODCr) concentration about 1800-2100mg/L, the effect of pressure, aeration time, aeration flux and mixed liquor suspended solids concentration on COD removal was investigated in pressurized activated sludge. The result shows that the COD removal reaches about 56% on the condition of pressure 0.1MPa, aeration flux 10wm, aeration time 6-8h and mixed liquor suspended solids concentration 3.0-5.0g/L. At the wastewater mixed CODCr concentration about 1800mg/L, the effect of pressure, aeration time and aeration flux on COD removal was examined in pressurized contact oxidation. The COD removal reaches about 67% on the condition of pressure 0.1-0.12MPa, aeration time 6-8h and aeration flux 7.5-10vvm.The effect of C-source, temperature, pH and operating technique on NH4+-N removal was investigated in both normal pressure and pressurized bio-oxidation. The result shows that adding initial-stage of 2 hours denitrification in operating technique can improve NH4+-N removal.
