Intercalation of amino acids (Ala, Gly, Asp, Glu, Met and His), diflunisal and naproxen into LDHs were investigated in this paper. The solids were characterized by X-ray diffractometry (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), elemental analysis (ICP) and thermogravimetry (TG-DTA). Then, the release properties of these guest moleculars were also studied. The contents of this paper were included as follow:(1) Intercalation of amino acids (Ala, Gly, Asp, Glu, Met and His) into ZnAl-LDHs by co-precipitation method was investigated. XRD results indicated that the solid products were found to have LDHs structure and the basal spacing (003) of Glu-, Met- and His-LDHs were expanded. The expanding interlayer space of Glu-, Met- and His-LDHs were vertically oriented to the LDHs layer, and the Ala-, Gly- and Asp-LDHs were parallel or tilted to the LDHs layer. There was an interaction between the host LDHs and the guest amino acids. Release properties of amino acid-LDHs in the acidic environment (pH=2~3) were...
