Amphoteric polyacrylamide is a multi-functional water soluble macromolecule material, and expected to be used in water processing, mining, petroleum-drilling, papermaking, leather, fluid transportation etc.First, the preparation of anion polyacrylamide is carried out with acrylamide, crylic acid monomer using the method of inverse emulsion and then through Mannich reaction. A series of PAM of difference molecular weight were made for enhance, retention and drainage. Several factors affecting synthesizing of PAM were discussed; infrared spectrum were applied to analyze the structure of synthesized amphoteric PAM, and compared with other PAM carrying different ion. The main conclusions are as the follows: the appropriate synthesize technology : the ration oil and water is 1 : 1.2, use level of emulsifier is 5%, SPAN-80 : OP-10 = 1:4, ammonium persulfate is 0.5%, concentration...
