Lab Research On Dry And Combustion System Of Municipal Sewage Sludge

The drying mechanics and characteristics of municipal sewage sludge and the system of the drying and combustion system of sludge were mainly studied in this paper.Firstly, the origins, kinds and harmfulness of sludge were introduced, and the treatment methods of sludge and the treatment statues of sludge in China were introduced. Based on the review of sludge fluidized bed incineration with dried sludge and wet sludge system, the research contents in this paper were determined.The sludge was a kind of varied components and special characters distinguished other pure substance. The changes of the fabric construction, the caloric value, physical appearance, drying stress, moisture separation characteristics, drying curves and the center temperature of sludge globe were detailed in this paper and grounded for the sludge drying and combustion attachments and system.As a optimized drying equipment, the paddle drying machine was selected to dry the sludge and studied the movement of sludge in. The behaviors of varied axis speed, sludge mixed with oil and back mixing were examined and checked out the best selection and the characters of the machine. The heating surface, improvement of the dead angle and so on, the advise was laid out for sludge after the several experiment.The incineration experiments of wet sludge(70%) and dried sludge(40%, 50%) in a Φ60mm fluidized bed incinerator in several bed temperature were examined, and the stabilization level of bed, secondary pollutant emissions and heavy metal distribution were mainly checked and compared. Through the experiments the quality of the different sludge combustion system were distinguished and the control methods of heavy metals emission were discussed.
