The paper uses self-designed and made flow loop apparatus to simulate field conditions (such as cycle of concentration, natural balance pH value, different temperature, rate of flow and so on. )in seawater recirculating cooling system. Applies seawater corrosion inhibitor combined with impressed current cathodic protection to gain corrective technical datum and protection parameters. It can explore the best scheme in low inhibitor concentration (or without prefilming) and incomplete cathodic protection potential (near the optimal protection potential) through cooperated effects to hinder the carbon steel from being corroded seriously, especially the localized corrosion in the condensed seawater (different temperature or rate of flow etc), which will render the concentration of corrosion inhibitor and the current density of cathodic protection degraded greatly, so the new technology and way explored could solve the problem of condensed seawater corrosion efficientlyThis paper finishes the following experiments:The study of carbon steel in the seawater with cathodic protection;The study of carbon steel in the twice-condensed seawater with cathodic protection and corrosion inhibitor;The study of rate of flow ;It can draw the conclusions below:(1) The corrosion of carbon steel can be controlled efficiently in seawater and twice-condensed seawater through cathodic protection in particular condition while adding the corrosion inhibitor is proved a bit useful , but it will bring the problems : large current density of cathodic protection and low efficiency of hindering corrosion etc once the two technology is used singlely.
