The Research On The Control Technology Of Sintering Process

The paper through the actualization of Sintering Plant Supervision System (SPSS) used in 2×90m~2 sintering machines of sintering plant, Jinan Iron and Steel Corporation (JISC); fulfill the sintering process control prior to other plant in domestic. The technology introduced into JISC from Rautaruukki, Finland. According to our sintering process, SPSS was developed by JISG The control range includes all the sintering process, including 6 Level I models and 5 Level II models. The project put in use at the end of 2004. We get the good effect especially in stabilization the sintering process, improve the quality of sinter, decrease the labor intensity of workers after SPSS put into use.The paper introduced the technology of sintering process control in the world. Especially the success examples.JISC has revamped the computer system, instrument and sintering process in order to let the system working well.
