Wetland is the transition region between terraneous environment and aquatic environment. Because of its great productivity and environmental values, wetland,forest and ocean are the three largest ecosystem on earth. As the result of climate change and human activities, the ecological function of Wetland decreases seriously. Zoige Wetland lies in the north-eastern part of Qinghai-Tibet Platean. It is a typical wetland ecosystem of plateau. However, Zoige Wetland is degenerating in speed with the continued reduction of wetland area, descent of water table, some impacts on water recharge and decrease of biodiversity because of the excessive human activities.As an important environment protection area of the Yangtze River and Yellow River, Zoige Wetland acts an important role in environment protection of the two rivers and in sustainable development in this region. The existence of water is the basic condition of existence of wetland . As part of hydrocycle , groundwater has important effects to soil, plants, animals and other facts in wetland. So, study of groundwater flow is important to Zoige wetland.Till now, the wetland researches in our country are mostly concentrated in northeast Three-river-plain,the lakes and outfalls of Yangtze River downstream region and the littoral areas except Zoige Wetland, and besides, more attention is paid to the plants,soil,animals and other ecosystem features of Zoige Wetland.
