Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), which is a copolymer of ethylene and a-alkene, is becoming one of the largest polyolefin variety. Based on this background, basic theoretical research and the utility of LLDPE should be increasingly considered. From the 1980's of 20 century, inorganic nano-particles enhancing polymers' properties sparked the interests of researchers in polymer science, at the same time the functions of fillers in polymers will be recognized. On one the hand, the fillers probably increase some properties of polymers while the others would be sacrificed, on the other hand the structures of polymers have been complicated, which will not be beneficial to the research.Three typical fillers: nano-calcium carbonate(nano-CaCO3), nano-montmorillonite (nano-MMT) and glass fiber (GF) have been chosen to prepare LLDPE composites by melting blending. The methods of Small Angle Light Scattering(SALS), Wide Angle X ray Diffraction (WAXD), differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC) and Polarized Light Microscope(PLM) have been taken...
