In this dissertation, by the three main experimental procedures, explosive compaction, liquid-phase sintering and heat treatment,a excellent performance composite material CSTC,short for carbon steel-steel bonded carbide,was gained. SEM, XRD, TEM, electronic tensile tester, durometer and other detection means were used to analyze the variations of grain's micromorphology and phase before and after explosive compaction of mixed metal-powder; the effect of sintering temperature on the interface between SBCTC ,short for steel bonded carbide TLMW50 cladding,and carbon steel, tension fracture and bond strength; the variations of microstructure of SBCTC, micromorphology of CSTC interface and mechanical property of SBCTC before and after heat treatment.Many groups of explosion experiment shown that, under the condition of keeping the quantity of detonator, the explosive separation affected the compactability of compact greatly. In the range from 10 to 30mm,the compact density increased as the space of explosion increased, and the compact density approached 90% of its theoretical density, which had shown the superiority of explosive compaction.
