The Effects Of Plumbum And Cadmium On The Cytoarchitecture Of Freshwater Crab (Sinopotamon Henanense)

The effects of cadmium (1.87mg/L) and plumbum (11.82 mg/L) on myocardial cells, hepatopancreas cells and testis cells in freshwater crab, Sinopotamon henanense were studied during three different time (10d, 20d, 30d) by means of single and combined exposure and steromicroscope system from May 2004 to October using the freshwater crab, Sinopotamon henanense. The myocardial cells at different developmental stages in the single and combined groups had been observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to determine whether Cd and pb had effects or not. The same experiment had been done twice. The results showed that all kinds of observed cells had been changed ultrastructurally after Cd and pb treatment by exposure, moreover, with the longer of Cd and pb treatment were, the more seriously the cells had been changed in morphology. At the same time, The influence of cadmium (Cd) with control and two concentrations (12.13mg/L,121.17mg/L)on ovaries in freshwater crab(Sinopotamon henanense) in 24 hours was researched through scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and steromicroscope system from November 2005 to April 2006. The morpha of female ovaries changed markdly. With the increase of cadmium dosage the structure and morpha of the ovaries changed, which is reflected on the increase of fragmentations and adherences.
