The relationship of ecological quality of the environment between towns and its neighboring areas, such as atmospheric environment, water environment is extremely close. Reasonable planning farmlands and a variety of green space surrounding the towns, can not only provide fresh, abundant agricultural products and comfortable and pleasant recreational places for urbanization region, but more importantly can maintain good ecological environment, make the urban environment quality to be improved, and provide food ,water, raw materials to the towns continuously. Once the environment of towns and its surrounding was destructed, soil erosion, soil hardens, water depletion would be appear, which can cause provision of food, water, raw materials for towns to be reduced, and limit the urbanization. In addition, waste water, air, residue and excreta emissions from towns can enter the damaged environment, and decomposition and purification of them is limited. So environment degrade fatherly, which aggravate obstacles of environmental to urbanization.Mountain towns are not only important components of our towns, but the economic development core and base of the mountain area. Potential for the future development of mountain towns is great, and the strategic position is importance. Therefore, strengthen the science research, fundamentally improve the understanding of the mountain towns' formation, development and evolution, strengthen the scientific planning and reduce the blindness and destructive during the mountain planning, has become a daunting task between urban researchers and planning builders. Meanwhile, in the course of urban expansion, towns surrounding region is a part, which can not be neglected. It is a middle ground, where urban and rural elements transit, interact and penetrate gradually. That is rural-urban fringe;its nature is different from the big cities and rural areas. Studies of this transition zone have become a "hot" research issues in city and regional scientific worldly. The selected area-QingBa mountain is the typical areas of this type. Focusing on sustainable development, using landscape ecology principles, land-use and environmental pollution of towns and its surrounding area is studied. The purpose of it is to use landscape ecology principles to plan land reasonably, resolve environmental problems, explore development model of mountain towns.Through investigation, there are some major problems exist in the study area: 1, the intensive utilization of land is low. The residence and industrial enterprises is not planed reasonably, and scattered in the study area. It is detrimental to the construction of modern intensive pollutant treatment plant, and causes the land to be wasted;meanwhile, causing intensive utilization of land to be low.2, water pollution is serious.3, soil erosion is serious. 4, lost of land nutrients are serious.Based on landscape ecology principles, the reasons of the above problems are founded: 1, industrial land and residence of the entire study area is scattered ,size of then is small and quantities is abundant, which is not conducive to intensive use of land resources and water pollution;2, in mountain hills area, dominance of the slopefarmland is big, and the structure of them is inconsistent, which caused soil erosion;Because of anthropogenic activities, hillside cultivated are distributed largely, which is not only conducive to the ecological environment protection of towns and their surrounding region, but also makes the downstream river decrease, increase control flood difficulty of the adjacent towns, cause people's lives and property and economic losses, hinder urban economic development.3, landscape structure of basin area is single, which is not conducive to the sound development of the plantation industry. Lost of land nutrients is serious, which harden the soil, made the fertility decline. Thus affected the development of economic and related agricultural industries of researched area and hinder the process of urbanization.Through zoning and planning of ecological landscape, problems are solved, and environmental improvements of studied area are made, which promote the process of urbanization. The studied area is divided into three major functional parts: conservational area, agricultural area and city constructive area. Aimed at key issues, corresponding measures are brought forward. 1, Strengthening ecological and environmental protection awareness in the entire study area, understanding the importance of environment to the development process of towns.2 > Distributing industrial enterprises and residents rationally, reducing their degree of fragmentation, and increasing land utilization.3 .. Adjusting landscape structure of mountain and hills district, and strengthening the construction of functional district. Through returning land for farming to forestry, subdued farmland to staircase cultivated farmland, reducing the area ratio of hillside cultivated and the distributing them rationally, strengthening the woodland protection of soil and water conservation district, adjusting agriculture mechanism to control soil erosion. 4n Adjusting landscape structure of basic farming area, making the urban and rural integrated, and making them to the development model of integration of urban and rural areas. 5> Strengthening the zoning, planning and construction of urban.
