Nanometer titania has promising application in the environmental protection, such as air purification,waste water tratement,bacillus resistance,pollution elimination, mist prevention and self-cleanness. In this study, titania is papared by using a sol-gel method,Ti(OC4H9)4 is the source of titanium, C2H5OH is the solvent, CH3COOH is the inhibitor.In the allocated proportion fixed, the nature pH, the room temperature, the same dry way s, considered the roasting temperature how to influence the crystal composition, the particle size and the catalytic activity.And uses XRD to study the phase transition of the TiO2 powder body in the roasting process.In order to further enhance the TiO2 photocatalyst activeness, this research uses the metallic ion doping to modify TiO2 on the base of analysing TiO2 photochemical mechanism. Selected transition metal Fe, Pb, Cu, precious metal Ag, rare-earth element Ce has prepared the doping modification nanometer TiO2 by using the sol-gel method. Through XRD inspected the influence of various metallic ion doping to crystal structure and size of the TiO2 powder body. Through the degeneration phenol solution, has studied various ions to the titanium dioxide photocatylytical activity,has determined the best doping roasting temperature and the best doping quantity. The auther initially discussed the mechanism of metallic ion doping to the titanium dioxide powder body to influence photocatylytical activity.In the sole ion-doped foundation, the paper uses Fe3+-Ce4+, Pb2+-Ce4+, Cu2+-Ce4+ three kinds of systems to altogether dope the titanium dioxide. Through XRD inspected the crystal structure and size of the titanium dioxide powder body. By inspected the photocatalytical activeness to the phenol, had determined the best altogether doping proportion, and discussed the mechanism of altogether doped TiO2 to enhance or reduce activity. The research indicated that, Fe3+-Ce4+, Cu2+-Ce4+ altogether doped TiO2 to be higher than the sole doping effect, but Pb2+-Ce4+ altogether doped TiO2 to be lower than the sole doping effect.
