A novel temperature- sensitive functional biomaterial N-isopropylacrylamide -grafted-2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate polymer (NIPAAm-g-HEMA) using APS(ammoniumpersulphate)/Na2S2O5(Sodium pyrosulfite) as redox initiator were prepared in an aqueous medium; A novel thermo- sensitive PNIPAAm/HEMA interpenetrating network hydrogels P (NIPAAm-I-HEMA) were prepared with both PNIPAAm and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate hydrogels which were synthesized by free-radical aqueous solution polymerization using APS(ammonium persulphate)/Na2S2O5(Sodium pyrosulfite) as redox initiator in a Simultaneous interpenetrating network process.
