The preparation and the dielectricity of BaTiO3 have been studied to discuss the feasibility that nano-barium titanate is being absorbing materials. The paper is discussed from the following aspects:1. The article introduces the actuality and the improvement of the study on absorbing materials which include the traditional ones and the new ones. Especially the study improvement of nano-absorbing materials is a keystone. Furthermore, absorbing principle of absorbing materials is been particularly discussed.2. BaTiO3 powders are prepared by the method of Sol-gel with two raw materials respectively. One is Ba(Ac)2 and the other is Ba(OH)2-H2O. The result indicates that the powders prepared with Ba(Ac)2 are better by testing, because their granularity is small and equal.3. The dielectric constant- e and dielectric loss-tgδ of nano-bariumtitanate powders are tested respectively when temperature and frequency change. The result shows that the dielectric constant is higher than the oneof square BaTiO3. The value of tgd is large and stable with the increase offrequency, which indicates that the absorbing capability of nano-BaTiO3 is preferable in large extension of frequency.
