| In order to acquire the local bending spring-back accuracy of sheet metal strip of a progressive die design, the thesis aims to build ironing depth simulation model in a bending deformation zone. According to the objective condition of wide sheet bending and narrow sheet bending, a series of forming simulation with different relative bending radius at different ironing depth is preformed with the FE code ABAQUS/Explicit. The aim is to find proper process and to get the least spring-back data.The thesis establishes a pre-bending forming simulation model to study the influence of pre-bending process on the continuous forming. According to the objective condition of wide sheet bending and narrow sheet bending, this paper designs a series of simulation condition combining pre-bending location and pre-bending angle to carry out simulation using ABAQUS/Explicit software to study the effect of pre-bending on the continuous process. The pre-bended sheet metal is put into an ironing depth simulation model to figure out the reasonable process parameter and with it to get the spring-back data meeting the stamping product clearance requirements to make it less or not necessary the continuous station sizing progress.To resolve the problems existed in the irregular flange drawing part products quality control, this paper investigate the influence of blank holding force on forming quality through the typical rectangular case drawing model, under different designed blank holding force to analysis the metal sheet stress distribution,thickness variation and spring-back state after being drawn simulation, to pick out a practicable blank holding force control method on progressive die design. Using the analysis result, a new blank holding force control design is developed. |
