| Although polyaniline has unique doping process, better physical chemistry properties, good stability, however its worse processiblity, poor solubility and bad dynamic properties have limited its application and development. So improve the processiblity of conductive polymers and guarantee its properties becomes a hot point in widening the application range of conducting polymers. Seek a new synthesizing method, develop the substituents of these polymers and copolymerization have been a useful method to solving this kind of problems.The facial synthesis method was a new preparation method of nano materials. In this method the monomer and the oxidant were dissolved in organic phase and water phase respectively. They react in the interface of two phases, and the polymer produced in the face would diffuse into the water phase, because of the absence of other monomers that didn't take part in the reaction the polymer has a good condition to shaping in a special form such as nano wires or nano sticks.In this paper we used the facial method and have done the following works:(1) We have synthesized polybenzidine and its derivatives and polybenzidine doped with different acids asβ-NSA, CSA, H2SO4 and HCl. The influence of substituted groups, doping acids to the shapes, structures and properties of polybenzidine has been discussed. UV-vis absorption spectra showed there is a red shift in the absorption band of poly(o-dianisidine) comparing with polybenzidine and poly(o-tolidine). Poly(o-dianisidine) was more highly ordered than polybenzidine and poly(o-tolidine). Polybenzidine particles appear as small chopped or needle shaped fibers in the micrograph. Voltammetric study indicated poly(o-dianisidine) had better electrochemical activity than polybenzidine and poly(o-tolidine); The morphology of polybenzidine was not changed a lot with the doping of acids, but its size was decreased, crystallinity of intrinsic polybenzidine was improved after doping and... |
