3104 Aluminum alloy is major material for manufacturing drink tin. It is part of Al-Mg-Mn serials and can not be strengthened by heat treating. It has advantages for example less density, high intensity, good corrosion resistance and so on. It's major alloy elements are Mn, Mg, Si, Fe, Cu, Zn etc. In addition, it includes some other microelements. If the mixture ratio of chemical element is different, the microstructure and macroscopic mechanical property are also different, too.The dissertation synthetically ascertained the type and shape of 3104 Aluminum alloy's compounds by means of differential thermal analysis, optical microscope, quantitative metallographic analysis, X ray diffraction analysis, scanning electronic microscopy analysis, transmission electronic microscopy analysis and so on, tested the mechanical property by tension experiment, and analyzed the effect rules of such major alloy elements as Mn, Mg and Fe/Si on the structure and performance of 3104 Aluminum alloy. In addition, the dissertation also studied the texture type of 3104 Aluminum alloy and its effect on drawing and analyzed the effect rules of baking technology on texture.The results show that:(1) 3104 Aluminum alloy includes MnAl6, (FeMn)Al6, four elementary phase of (Al, Fe, Mn, Si), three elementary phase of (Al, Mn, Si), the phase of (Al, Mn, Mg, Fe) and the compound of Al8Mg5, and dissolves Mg2Si phase. (2) Besides forming Mg2Si, Mg also forms Al8Mg5 compound. In a definite range, the plastic property of 3104 Aluminum alloy decreases with the increase of Mg's content. Mg's content should be controlled to 1.20% or so. (3) In 3104 Aluminum alloy, Mn dissolves in Al base stock, and form MnAl6, (FeMn)Al6, four elementary phase of (Al, Fe, Mn, Si), three elementary phase of (Al, Mn, Si). In a definite range, with the increase of Mn's content, alloy material's strengthening effect is obvious, but the plastic property decreases. Mn's content should be controlled to 0.93% or so. (4) When Fe/Si is between 1.72 and 1.78, the decrease of Aluminum alloy's strength is obvious, the plastic property increase, and the yield ratio decrease accordingly. Fe/Si should be controlled to 1.61 or so. (5) 3104 Aluminum alloy includes textures of {112}<111>, { 5 23}< 13 5>, {001}<110>,S{123}<634> etc.(6) The effect of baking technology on the texture of flat cold-rolled sheet is not obvious. So we can not reduce or eliminate the salient by baking.
