With the fast development of automotive industry,it is an inexorable trend. that automobiles are becoming much lighter and lighter. Magnesium alloy as a kind of light metal material,has more advantages ,such as small density,specific strength and specific stiffness,high damping,strongly shielding ability of electromagnet,and easy recycle ability than those of other materials such as aluminum alloy,Fe,engineering plastics et al. Which make the magnesium alloy have extremely extensive application prospects in the fields ,including the national defence industry,Aero-Space,means of transportation ,3C products ,etc. among these ,the automobile industry develop particularly fastly.The mechanics capability of magnesium alloy is good at normal temperature,but It is pool when the temperature is over 120℃,especially the capability of creep- resistant. There are many methods to improve the high temperature creep-resistant capability of magnesium alloy:①Adhibiting the second-photography with high heat stability;②Falling the diffuse velocity of element in the magnesium body;③Improving the confugition state and organize conFig.uration of crystal bound.To improve the mechanics capability under high temperature for Mg-Al series alloy,many additives for modification were affililiated , such as Si,Re,Ca,Sr, etc. With the development of research, many new effective alloying element and alloying method are discovered, which improve the heat resistant and integrate capability of alloy. Mg-Sr alloy study very few,and Mg-Al-Sr alloy has not studied the report yet at home,, research in this respect is also very little in abroad.This subject mainly discusses the effects of mixture method preparation technologies on the structure of Mg-Sr master alloy and Mg-Al-Sr alloy,including preparation method (melt-leaching-reduction process and Mixture method),process parameters,and heat treatment. In the meaning time the effect of Mg-Al-Sr alloy on the structure and the mechanics properties is discussed. X fluorescence analysis,scanning electron microscope (SEM ) ,X ray diffraction appearance (XRD ) ,optics microscope (OM ) were used to analyze to the experimental result.The result shows that the microstructure of Mg-Sr alloy is composed of preeutectic matrix of Mg dendrites and laminary eutectic phaseα-Mg phase and Mg17Sr4 which distribute on intercrystalline boundary.
