| The environmental protection is now one of world development subjects, reducing the automobile as well as other transportation and the flight tool's weight, consequently reducing the energy consumption, is an effective way of environmental protection. The magnesium alloy is one of lightest metals, and using the magnesium alloy as accessories is the most effective method of reducing the transports tools'weight. So magnesium alloy must possess high strength and excellent temperature creep resistance property. At present the research on temperature creep resistance of magnesium alloy also in the start stage, urgently needs the massive scientific re search and the technical reserve. In the automobile, the magnesium alloy transmission components generally working ambient temperature is 150-250℃, the studies of magnesium alloy temperature creep resistance property under this temperature is practical.At present the magnesium alloy used most widely and had best integration performance generally includes the Al element.Mg17Al12 is the most important strengthening second phase in Mg-Al series alloy. The low melting-point(mp) Mg17Al12'stability is bad, and often exist in the magnesium alloy as reticular. In order to enhance the creep resistance of magnesium alloy, must reduce the content of Mg17Al12 in the alloy, and produces other high melting point, more stable second phase. Tin(Sn) can form high mp Mg2Sn phase in the magnesium alloy, which can prevent the crystal boundary slipping and the dislocation climbing under the high temperature, thus may enhance the magnesium alloy creep resistance property. But at present the research about the effect of tin element on morphology and mechanics property of magnesium alloy is few.The present paper has mainly studied following several aspects: 1) smelt magnesium alloy contains the tin with creep resistance property, 2) study the influence mechanism and the way of tin to the magnesium alloy creep resistance performance, 3) research the rule of creep resistance of magnesium alloy contain different tin. By the way of appending another alloy element such as rare earth element or decreasing the content of Aluminum (Al) and the different content of Tin's influence on creep resistance of Mg-Al-Zn magnesium was researched. And find the tin content of magnesium with best creep resistance property. |
