PTC heat sensitive resistor for its good resistance to temperature and pressure has the wide use in temperature compensation and current limiting, etc. BaTiO3 ceramics material is one of the most major materials of PTC. BaTiO3 ceramics material is one of the most common materials of PTC. All kinds of methods for preparation of BaTiO3 is reviewed in this paper and liquid routes, which can offer an powders having high purity, homogeneous composition, small particle diameter, is considered to be the major method. Sol-gel autoignition Synthesis is one of the prospective routes for manufacturing barium titanate powders because it is simple, self-cleaning and easy to undertake scale production.In order to controlling Curie temperature of ceramics for meeting different applications, Sr and Pb was added into BaTiO3 materials and their contents was calculated by means of motion efficiency.
