The newly invented wide-band focusing reflector is used to convert round multi-mode laser emitted by 10kW laser generator to rectangular facular, and the laser wide-band cladding coat with the single width of 40mm is obtained. When cladding the surface of large area, laser wide-band cladding can greatly increase the cladding rate, reduce the stack zone and improve the quality of cladding coat. So it will have a widely use in the industry of aerospace, car, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, etc.Multi-tracks wide-band powder-feed system is obtained, which contains the improved scraping powder-feed device that can get homogeneous and stable powder, the new powder-current divider and multi-pin adjustable powder-feed jet. After choosing the optimized processing parameters, the laser multi-tracks lap and stack cladding experiments are done on the surfaces of 20# steel and stainless steel with iron-base and nickel-base self-fusible alloy powder.There are corrugation fold appeared at different extent on the surface of single track cladding coat. The thickness of cladding coat is primarily homogenous along the direction of scanning, and is a litter arcuate along the direction of width. Multi-tracks lap cladding surface is flat, only a little sunk at the lap location. Wide-band stack cladding has a homogenous thickness of 10mm, and its surface is smooth.Parallel dendritic structure is emerged at the interface of the microscopic structure of single track cladding. Its grain is bulky, and grows at the vertical direction of interface. It is disordered dendritic structure at surface, and when it comes to the middle part of cladding coat, it becomes thinner and ordered dendritic structure. Two kind of coats with the different depth and same materials of base and cladding powder, the microscopic structure of thin-layer is bulkier than the thick-layer; Cladding with the same powder on the 20 steel base and stainless steel base, the former white layer is wider; Cladding with iron-base powder and nickel -base powder on the same base, the former white layer is almost a...
