Study On Extraction, Purification And Physicochemical Properties Of Polysaccharide Of Phellinus Baumii Pilat

The extraction, purification, and physicochemical properties of water-soluble polysaccharide fractions from the fruiting body of Phellinus baumii Pilat were studied in this paper. Then the process flow of purification of polysaccharide was established. The submerged fermentation of Phellinus baumii Pilat was also preliminary studied. The content of crude polysaccharide and crude protein et al from various Phellinus baumii Pilat were compared.A homogeneous fraction designated PBF1-A from Phellinus baumii Pilat was isolated by gradient ethanol precipitation, ultrafiltration, ion exchange chromatography and gel chromatography.
