Carbon fiber composite is widely applied in different fields because of its excellent performance, but its slick surface, low chemistry activity and weak interface performance limit its application, so how to increase its interface performance is a pop problem in composite fields. In recent years, magnetron sputtering is being extensively investigated as a means of preparing films because of its low temperature and high rate. This research introduces magnetron sputtering into carbon surface to improve the interface performance between carbon fiber and resin matrix, this research plays an important theoretical role and has great significance for diversifying the surface modification methods of carbon fiber and clarifying the mechanisms of surface modification.Because of its small diameter and brittle character, carbon fiber is difficult to in-situ token, so in this paper, silicon is used for intermedium to token sputtering technique parameters. The results show that power and distance are two important parameters. With the power and distance increasing, the sputtering speed is bigger. The higher the power is, the rigidity is bigger and the roughness is larger. Raman analysis shows that with the power and distance increasing, structure of carbon film is changing, sp3 composition increases, crystal is more integrity. Confirming 250w and 4cm are the best technique parameters though research.The shape and chemistry state are analyzed by SEM,AFM and XPS, the results show that with sputtering time increasing, grooves of carbon fiber are more expanse and deeper, the roughness is larger. The results of pull intensity show that carbon film has big effect, the pull intensity increase by 28.67%. Raman analysis shows that the carbon film sputtered on by magnetron sputtering is different with carbon film, crystal is bigger, graphitization degree is increasing, surface structure is more integrate.Preparing composites with epoxy resin and polyimide resin, research the influence of carbon film, observing rupture of resin and fiber with SEM, results show that IFSS degreases, interface intensity falls.Treat carbon fiber with plasma before sputtering, interface intensity test...
