Wire-drawing with ultrasonic vibration is a new processing technology through transferring ultrasonic vibration to common wire drawing, belong to ultrasonic plastic processing. In this paper, by the finite element simulating analysis, from the view of mechanism, a study on the effect and influence of ultrasonic vibration to wire-drawing is made, and its intention is to analyze relational laws and conclusions, thereby build the basis for factual production.According to fact production need, structure and dimension of wire drawing mould is made certain, and ultrasonic transducer for ultrasonic wire drawing is designed. Through carrying out the mode analysis on the transducer, the wanted vibration mode and ultrasonic frequency are acquired. On the base of this, and according as the theory of elasticity and plasticity and the principle of finite element, the simulating of ultrasonic and common wire-drawing are respectively implemented with the finite element software-ANSYS. In the course of simulating of ultrasonic wire-drawing, after reasonable simplification, the sine wave of ultrasonic vibration is transformed into the triangle wave, which has the same frequency, phase and amplitude of vibration as the sine wave. The difficult problem of how to transferring ultrasonic vibration to the wire-drawing mould is solved, with method of same-step loading, multi-step solving. Consequently, the simulating of ultrasonic wire-drawing is successfully achieved. In paper, the result of the simulation is synthetically analyzed. By means of comparing the result of wire-drawing with ultrasonic with that of common wire-drawing, the deformation and strain, stress and wire force and contact friction are emphatically analyzed. Analysis result shows that: wire-drawing with ultrasonic make deformation and strain more symmetrical; Under the condition of the same velocity, the stress and wire-drawing force of wire-drawing with ultrasonic reduce very much, compared with that of common wire-drawing, it is obvious that the ultrasonic wire-drawing may heighten producing efficiency, reduce power wasting and lower cost; At the same time, friction also reduce, moreover friction reduce more in the lessening-radius section than in the invariable radius section, and this indicates that wire-drawing with ultrasonic have the effect of...
