The shoemaking industry in China is facing a great challenge, traditional workshop-style production neither meet the need of consumer nor meet the need of market as a so-called big shoemaking country, therefore, we must direct the current craftwork to numerial and automotive machining. Shoe last is significant for shoemaking technology, the design and manufacture of shoe last is related to the quality of the finished product of the shoe. For the shoemaking industry, it is a trend to introduce CAD/CAM technology into the design and manufacture of shoe last. Several Euramerican country, such as Italy, USA, U.K. etc, has already developed it for many years, and finished product has already come out, however, our country is lag in this field relatively. So that, to develop our own CAD/CAM technology of the shoe last is urgently.Aimed at the peoblem, this dissertation analyzed the significance of developing CAD/CAM technology in shoemaking industry, investigated the current situation at home and abroad, finally, determined the work of this dissertation is to develop a applied and low-cost auto-program system for Numerical Control Shoe Last Machine, based on the deeply research of CAD/CAM auto-program software of shoe last.The system adopts Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 program language and OpenGL three-dimension graphics database as the tools, apply the face-object technique, realize that the point cloud data change into numerial-control code, finally, emulate the machining process of the shoe last.According to the working flow of the system, this dissertation begin with the reading data part, then present coordinate transition, removing noise points, smoothing data, interpolation of data by average arithmetic or bezier arithmetic, calculating the machining track and the axes track of the tool, the format and the outputting of numerial-control code orderly. Finally, introduce the environment for emulating.
