Study On Application Of Crotonaldehyde In Adhesives Of Poly (Vinyl Acetals)

This paper mainly focused on the influencing factors during the preparation of poly (vinyl crotonal) solution and the methods to get rid of the remaining crotonaldehyde of the solution; as well as the effects of the factors on the preparation and performance tests of the polyvinyl (crotonal and acetaldehyde); and it also studied the method to prepare the polyvinyl (crotonal and acetaldehyde) with alcohol as the medium through increasing the degree of acetalation. Finally this paper explored that the polyvinyl acetate emulsion was modified with post-acetalization.In this paper, it mainly studied the impact of hydrochloric acid, crotonaldehyde and temperature on viscosity of the solution of poly (vinyl crotonal); and the two processes of getting rid of the remaining crotonaldehyde. Namely they were the method of precipitate and the chemistry method of urea processing. The results showed: The loss of poly (vinyl crotonal) was small, the velocity of precipitate was rapid, the volatile loss of crotonaldehyde was low, and we could get the solution of the low crotonaldehyde by the precipitate method of adding sulfate.
