Ceramsite is a new primary and potential structural material .That is lighter weight, high-strength and low absorbing water rate etc. The concrete made from the Ceramsite has lighter weight, higher specific strength and better shock resistance etc.On the basis of analyzing the chemical composition, Phase structure analyzing, the range of fired temperature of shale, clay and fly ash. It shows that the main chemical composition of shale resource is similar to the one of clay raw materials in GuangXi province. This has offered favorable basis for the shale resource.Consider synthetically: shale, fly ash, clay and additive material are chosen to be the raw materials of the ceramsite. The best composition of the ceramsite have been confirmed through the Uniform Design test method and Orthorhombic experiment, namely, shale: fly ash: clay: additive=71:10:15:4, and on the sintering processing parameter by Orthorhombic experiment design method, author also draws the best burning craft parameters, namely Dry temperature: 110℃ for dry time 2h; precalcined temperature: 400℃ for 15min; It is 1200℃ to burning temperature for 5min.Function of primary chemical contents in the fired process, porosity formation mechanism and solid phase reaction are also analyzed. By adopting SEM, XRD, etc, combining the result of macrostructure and microstructure performance of ceramisite, it shows that the influenced factors of the expansion to ceramsite are chemistry composition and sintering processing. It suggests that the optimized chemical component and the best sintering parameters of shale material to produce the best ceramsite. The Ceramsite has been produced by industry...
