The magnesium alloy gets more and more concern as the new-type light alloy material, and gets more and more extensive using in Aero-Space, automobile and electronics industry. At present, in the craft stability of the production and the properties of the products of thin wall and shell shape, mode of production taking die casting technology as leading factor can't respond to the request that the magnesium alloy electron products are light and thin and short and small yet, and the utilization ratio of materials of casting is low, it can avoid above-mentioned defects to adopt plasticity forming method. It has important realistic meaning and economic worth to study the forming law and the thermal forming craft simulation technology of magnesium alloy sheets out of shape for realizing the practical and industrialization of magnesium alloy sheet processing.Magnesium alloy sheets have very poor plasticity in room temperature and difficulties in forming. When heating certain temperature, the sheets work hardening process is constantly offset by the process of the reversion and recrystallization in the state of thermal plasticity. In this way, the magnesium alloy sheets are in a kind of state of softening of low intensity and high plasticity, and the forming can obtain obvious improvement.Being based on the above-mentioned mechanism of magnesium alloy sheet forming, numerical simulation research on thermal deep-drawing forming craft of magnesium alloy cups and box-shaped products were investigated in this paper.The common software DYNAFORM for finite element analysis was utilized to simulate the deep-drawing forming process of magnesium alloy cups and box-shaped products. The distribution of the stress and strain of cups and products was analyzed at different areas and different stages of the deep-drawing forming.
