Nano-titanium dioxide photocatalysts shows tremendous latency appliance foreground in the application fields, such as waste water cleanse, air purification and remediation, antibacterial etc. In this article, according to lanthanide ion dopant and noble metal Ag sediment for modified nano-TiO2, we have studied photocatalytic and antibacterial activity of modified nano-TiO2 composite powder. In the experiment of photodegradation, adsorption efficiency of Ce+ on the surface of anatase TiO2(A-TiO2), the photocatalytic activity of Ce content at different heat treatment temperature were investigated for photodegradation of methyl orange (MO) in nano-powder suspension irradiated by middle-pressure mercury lamp, and scrutinized degradation results of Ce/TiO2 compound material for formaldehyde. In the experiment of anti-microbial, we systemically studied the influence of dispersing medium, dispersant content, concentration of silver ion, and pH value on adsorption efficiency of Ag+, and researched anti-color degradation and antibacterial activity of different silver ion- modified Rutile-TiO2(R-TiO2). The samples were characterized by Transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-Vis optical property analysis etc.The results showed that the adsorption rate of nano-anatase TiO2 was very high and the cerium ions were almost adsorbed.
