The accumulation of mine slag can not only destroy the original environment, but also has the possibility of sliding and thus endanger the lives and lead to loss of property. So it has a great meaningful to study on control the geological environment in mine areas. The mine in Guang'an City is located in the ridge zone of Huaying Mountain, with an area of about 25 million square kilometers. Because of effect of tectonic movement, It has special topography characterized with overlapping peaks, crossing ravines, narrow bottom of ravines, steep slopes and tall mountains. The mine area belong to climate of humid subtropical monsoon, with the characteristics of mild climate, abundant rainfall, erratic rainfalls, with the rainy season relatively concentrated, the long rainfall and the great intensity of rainfall. The accumulation of mine slag, which is formed by the long-term development and don't have timely restoration, lead to landslide at the conditions of the great intensity of rainfall and causes a serious dangers to lives and the geological environmental disasters. So the study of this paper is just started in this background.First, the geography, topography, the conditions of hydrology and weather and geological environmental in the mining area are detailed studied. And we analyzed and got the main reason for waste flow is caused by the sliding accumulation of large slag. It was mainly due to the storage of coal wastes and unreasonable punishment, more than 20 heavy rains or rainstorms in this district, which caused extensive slag waste to slip. Thus, on basis of surveying the characteristics of accumulation slag,...
