Coking Plant produces a great deal of coke powder,tar slag and activated sludge annually. If we don't make good use of these solid wastes, they will pollute water, soil and environment and we also waste a lot of precious resources. So, developing a research about the effect of solid wastes from coking plant on the quality of coke has an important significance on protecting environment, reducing the cost and saving resource.Based on the character of solid wastes and the fact of coking plant, the experiment that solid wastes were blended into the coking coal was conducted in a 5kg coking oven. Proper proportion solid wastes will be added into the coking coal on the premise of guaranteeing the quality of coke. The result showed that coking with appropriate amounts of the solid wastes was feasible. The best substitution of Fat coal, Lean coal and Fat coal for tar slag, coke powder and active sludge were 2.0%, 2.0%, 2.0% on the premise of guaranteeing the quality of coke. The influences of the quantity of three solid wastes simultaneously added on coke quality for coal blending were investigated by orthogonal analysis. The best quantity were found with 1.0% coke powder, 2.0% tar slag and 1.0% active sludge added simultaneously.
